This is not just pizza — it’s a love letter from Naples. With a chewy crust, melted mozzarella, and that signature swirl of Italian tomato sauce, it’s pizza the way it was meant to be. Makes 1 perfect pie (or enough for 2 romantics).

Ingredients

  • 1 ball of Italian pizza dough (homemade or store-bought, no judgment)
  • 1/2 cup Italian tomato sauce (San Marzano preferred, always)
  • 1 cup fresh Italian mozzarella, torn a handful of fresh basil leaves
  • A generous drizzle of Ciao! Extra virgin olive oil
  • Pinch of sea salt

Steps

  • Preheat your oven to its hottest setting (bonus points if you have a pizza stone).
  • Stretch the dough into a circle—don’t worry about perfection, rustic is charming.
  • Spread the tomato sauce with the back of a spoon, leaving a border for that heavenly crust.
  • Add mozzarella like you're decorating a love story, then basil leaves. 
  • Drizzle with Ciao! olive oil. 
  • Bake until bubbling and slightly charred, about 7–10 minutes.

Slice, serve, and listen carefully—you might hear a mandolin in the distance.
